Özil consultant shoots against DFB stars and Bayern bosses

DFB captain power spins

Mesut Özils advisor Erkut Sögüt defended the much discussed photo of the former international about eight weeks after his resignation from the DFB team and attacked several German international players. “Mesut made no mistake. It remains that way,” Sögüt told the soccer magazine 11Freunde. “It is a question of respect to meet the president when he asks for it.

He thus addressed the controversial meeting between Özil and his national team colleague Ilkay Gündogan with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in London in the run-up to the World Cup finals in Russia.

The consultant considers the statements made by DFB captain Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos and Thomas Müller, who had all made public statements about the resignation after Özil’s resignation, to be “more than disappointing and out of place”. There are only two explanations for the words of the three: “They are either naive or calculating,” said Sögüt.

In a BILD interview, Kroos spoke of a “high proportion of nonsense” in Özil’s statement. Neuer and Müller as well as national coach Joachim Löw had also decisively rejected Özil’s accusations that racist incidents had occurred in the team.

DFB power spins

Löw defends himself against an accusation that was never made. Mesut was not racist as part of the team, but was attacked by the middle of society – the DFB should have protected him there,” said Sögüt.

Two months after his meeting with Erdogan, 29-year-old Özil had for the first time commented on the criticism of his person. In a three-part statement in the social media, he had made serious accusations against the DFB and its president Reinhard Grindel and also declared his resignation from the national team.

In his general account, Sögüt also shoots against the Bavarian bosses Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Hoeneß had accused Özil of having played “dirty” in the national team for years and of wanting to distract from his performance by accusing the DFB of racism. FCB CEO Rummenigge spoke of a “phantom discussion“.

Sögüt: “If anyone here wants to distract, it’s these two. And that is the performance of their own players, their tax evasion, their duty unpaid Rolex watches and the nepotism in their club.”

Sögüt thus responds to the (admittedly hard) sporting criticism with personal attacks against the Bavarian bosses and their long known offences from the past.  Power Spins will give the players a thrilling gaming experience just like the other online casino sites.

Barça defeats Tottenham, Liverpool loses at the last minute

Croatian World Cup 888ladies

Lionel Messi is always a reliable player: FC Barcelona won against Tottenham with goals 104 and 105 in the premier league. Liverpool suffered a bitter defeat in Naples.

Tottenham Hotspur – FC Barcelona 2:4 (0:2)

Tottenham Hotspur lost 2-4 (2-0) to FC Barcelona in Group B after a weak first half. Lionel Messi opened the opening goal with a nice pass, Philippe Coutinho put the ball into the empty goal a little later (2nd minute). The best goal of the day was scored by Ivan Rakitic: The distance shot of the Croatian World Cup finalist went spectacularly from the left inner post into the goal (28th).

Shortly after the break, the Londoners were hopeful again. After two goals from Messi’s post, Harry Kane shortened to 1:2 (52.). But it was Messi who restored the old distance only four minutes later (56th). After Erik Lamela (66th) scored again, Messi scored his 105th Champions-League goal to finish the match on the 90th position. The Argentinian is thus catching up with Cristiano Ronaldo, who scores 120 goals. Barça leads the table with Inter Milan, Tottenham and Eindhoven third and fourth respectively.

SSC Naples 888ladies

PSV Eindhoven – Inter Milan 1-2 (1-1)

In Group B, Inter Milan also celebrated their second success in the second match. The Serie A club won PSV Eindhoven 2-1 (1-1), despite an interim deficit. Pablo Rosario put coach Mark van Bommel’s team in the lead (27th), Radja Nainggolan equalled before the break (44th). In the second half, Mauro Icardi scored the winning goal (60th).

SSC Naples – FC Liverpool 1:0 (0:0)

While Paris St. Germain had no problems in their 6-1 win against Red Star Belgrade, Liverpool suffered a bitter defeat in their second Group C match. The runners-up in the English Premier League came under pressure from the start. The Reds, who are otherwise so offensive, did not shoot at the opposing goal even once in the best line-up. Naples, who had played only a draw against Belgrade at the start, were only rewarded with a 14th goal in the final minute, with Lorenzo Insigne using the input of the outstanding José Callejon (90th). Liverpool are third in the table with three points, Naples first (four points) and PSG second at the moment. Check 888Ladies for more details.

Atlético Madrid – Club Bruges 3-1 (1-1)

Dortmund’s opponent in the group has won against Club Brügge without a glitter. France’s superstar Antoine Griezmann scored twice (28./67.) in the 3:1 victory, Arnaut Groeneveld equalled for the Belgian champion in the meantime (39.). Koke scored the third goal for the Spaniards. Atlético now ranks second in the table, equal on points with BVB.
